The London Cinematic International Film Festival (LOCIFF) will run from April 3, 2018 – 2p.m., in London, UK at the Benihana Chelsea.
We are accepting films that are that have been produced within the last 36 months from new or experienced film makers. We are accepting documentaries, drama, comedy, horror, children’s films and animated. May participate all international short/feature films, music videos, documentaries, animated films. The contest is open both USA and foreign authors (the film must have English subtitles).
The Festival believes that films can be made on very little or no budget, just pure hard work and dedication from the people involved. With this in mind we bring you a festival where money is not the key to a great film, if you are a student, low budget production company or are someone who makes films at home, then this festival is for you.
Providing a young, fresh and exciting perspective to today’s world of cinema, we seek to showcase and honor innovative and exciting voices in the UK and international film communities. With nine categories, our goal is to recognize a large and diverse selection of films from all genres and from all over the world. No longer will your entry be obliterated by a big budget production company, if you have the skills to tell a story then you could be the winner of LOCIFF Festival.
Please read the rules listed below to ensure that your film qualities:
The festival official language is English. Dialogs which are different from English must have English subtitles.
Please be sure to accurately label your film in it’s appropriate category.
The judging panel for awards is entirely independent of the festival committee and their decision is final.
The festival reserves the right to use brief clips from all selected films to promote the screenings.
Films that are submitted are not guaranteed to be accepted into festival.
Films with non-English dialogue must be submitted with English subtitles.
We accept films that have been shown at other festivals.
All films must be submitted with an online screener.
Films must have been completed within the last three years. All topics are eligible.
